Shock: Travel Soccer vs Travel Volleyball vs

A buddy shared the cost of his 2009 DD Travel Volleyball fee. TWICE as expensive as my DD's top team soccer fees. Then another buddy shared his DD's equestrian fees, which overshadowed both ours many times over. Is it like this overseas? What in the hell?

Gyms are more expensive to rent then fields.

No. Kids overseas play soccer/football and the clubs sponsor the teams. Everything else is mostly rec. none of this sports obsession as here and pay for play. Only super rich do equestrian etc etc.

I think with the nationwide volleyball travel, it ends up being worse than hockey.
