How much time does your parent spend on the computer/tablet/smart phone?

My MIL spends most of her day except for walks. what else is there for her to do? they don't think there's anything wrong with this.

Mine spends zero time.

They never used the internet at home.

I warned my dad before he retired to get hobbies so when he did he and my mom wouldn't kill each other. Joke's on me I guess, because she died two years before he retired. But I still encouraged him to get hobbies so he could make friends and pointed out sociologically, women will buddy up with women in ways men (especially of his generation) won't.

So he does a security patrol around his development once a week, he plays shuffleboard once a week, and some card game old people like once a week. Then he spends the weekends with his lady friend and they have couple friends. He reads books, but I think that's on a kindle, not books from the library.

So he spends more time than he should on a screen, but he has breaks.
