The Decameron - netflix

Anyone watching this? I just started it this weekend and it's pretty good. Based on the book by Giovanni Boccaccio about a group of nobles fleeing the plague in italy.

Some great actors - Tony Hale, Saoirse-Monica Jackson [derry girls], Zosia Mamet [the flight attendant]. I think it came out in 2024 but was just added to netflix.

I think it's been on Netflix for awhile. I started it then lost interest.

I watched it on another platform (maybe Hulu?) and thought it was pretty funny. Kinda weird but funny. Agree good actors like Tony Hale is what makes it work. He has the most eclectic body of work. I loved him so much in mysterious Benedict society and was so sad it got cancelled. I know it’s just a kids book but his dual performance was really just so nuanced.
