If you've bought a mattress recently where did you get it?

| I'm only looking for places with floor samples to try. Costco used to be our go-to but Gaithersburg has nearly no floor samples for better quality mattresses (despite having expensive ones for sale). We are probably looking for something between $700 and 1500 (mattress only). Places like Mattress Discounters have always given me used car cringe vibes. Macy's is the only place we're considering shopping right now. Where else can I look? |

| Hästens is our go-to. Absolutely worth every cent and so comfortable. I do prefer a very firm mattress though. |

We love Tuft and Needle and they have a money-back guarantee so while I don't think you can try the mattresses anywhere (at least you couldn't when we got all of ours), you can send it back.
We have six of them (in every bedroom and guest room) and we've had multiple friends buy one after sleeping on ours. |

| Very firm Ikea, then put a non-memory foam topper on top from Amazon. After previous extremely expensive mattresses, doing it this way has been great. |

| You can go to Mattress Firm (or the like, they're all the same) and find the equivalent mattresses to what is sold in Costco, then buy from Costco. |

| Naturepedic. They have a showroom in North Bethesda. I think their entry level models may be at the higher end of your price range. |

| Sam's club. but same problem if you want to try. It's getting harder if you need a mattress and box spring. I also did mattress warehouse recently- you can shop online too -but delivery wasn't as good. try bob's discount furniture. |
