| It’s interesting that women often grieve the onset of menopause due to aging, no more pregnancies, etc. Then, somewhere in the middle of this process, you just want it OVER! Such is life OP. Hang in there. |

I’ve been wondering about this! I’m 51, on HRT, and my cycles are around 45+ days apart which is new. My problem is that I stay very bloated and uncomfortable for increasing stretches before I actually bleed.
Just curious - I assume this is normal, have others found their last year or so of periods were especially awful?😣 |

| Sorry, OP. I am 53 this year and mine are still coming every few months too. But my 51 yo sister stopped completely during Covid, and my 49 yo sister seems to be about finished. I just don’t know. |

| Ugh, sorry OP. I went 108 days from October to February of 2024 into 2025 and cried when it came. Granted, I was only 44 then, but I’d been getting longer and longer between them. I’ve had a couple over 100 days since then, but no longer get my hopes up. 78 days at the moment, so at least I’m only getting them a few times a year now instead of 28 days like clockwork. |

| Just turned 58. I have gone 73 days after never going more than 40 (spaced last two periods). I am hoping I’m totally done. My question is I have the feeling that I could get my period any day and I’ve had cervical mucus. If you have cervical mucus, does that mean you probably ovulated and you are gonna get a period or can you have phantom cervical mucus thank you |
