| precovid world i go to CVS across from work once a week to use the self run free blood pressure check device. need to get back on the routnine. just goggled this and it returned all CVSs near me (Arlington) but i don't remember seeing these devices for years after covid. google also said walgreen. |
| I know multiple Fairfax County CVS stores have them. Just saw one this week. |
| Why don’t you just buy some if you need to go that often? |
| But one* |
| Ugh. Buy one* |
| I'd just buy one. I had one for when I was being monitored for pre-eclampsia and they aren't expensive at all, about $40. |
| Buy one on Amazon. They’re not very expensive. I got an arm cuff one for $35. |
| The one at our Giant never works. We just bought one and it saves the data and also you can use it to report to your doctor. It was $50 I think. |
|
The store ones vary in readings.
Get your own. At least you can track changes. |
| FSA eligible i'm guessing? |
Yes. My insurance pays for one, too. |
| Yeah just buy it. I bought one when my doctor suggested I had high blood pressure because my BP skyrocketed during a UTI, and I couldn't convince her it was a one-off! I still monitor it myself and they're cheap. |
| I understand how you feel I have a really hard time finding these too now in the Arlington/Alexandria area. I bought a home one but it's got a lot of issues and it's frustrating to use. I think the ones in the store are more accurate. I hope someone posts locations to where they have one. |
just went to two CVSs and one Walgreens and no luck. also know the CVS inside Target doesn't have it either. we're in blood pressure machine desert! |
That's disappointing! Which target? The skyline one used to have one. DH thinks he saw one across the street from that target at Giant (3480 S Jefferson St in Falls Church) last week and the Giant in Annandale by the pharmacy a few months ago. I can check the Falls Church Giant this week and get back to you! |
