We're middle aged and not trendy but like atmosphere and vibes!
We do have res at Balthazar. |
| Hard Rock and Bubba Gumps |
| I think you might enjoy Bemelmans Bar in the Carlyle Hotel. Go for happy hour but get there early as it fills up fast. Very stylish, very old school NYC. |
| Monkey Bar is OG and still fun. |

I like these rooftops:
Overstory Nubeluz 230 Fifth Bemelmans gets so crowded, it was not worth the long wait of several hours in my opinion |
| I like the bar in Grand central station, the campbell bar. beautiful 1920's architecture |
Pray tell... What is a "stylish" drink? |
| Temple Bar on Lafayette |
| Bar at the Soho Grand is nice, Terroir Wine Bar or Weather Up in Tribeca. Dear Irving (need reservations). |
In 1998? |
Don't be mean. It's a classic of sorts and still vibrant and the food is good . . . the same with Odeon and Pastis. |
| https://www.bookmarkslounge.com/, it’s a rooftop place |

+1 for the Campbell Bar in Grand Central
These are not trendy and DCUM will scorn but some classics: When we are out walking around staying in midtown. We like to stop for some glasses of champagne at the Palace. The Waldorf Astoria has been renovated. The clock lobby and Peacock Bar are classic At the very least, very nice restrooms. |
