Could DC GOP take Wward 3?

| Should be interesting to see. However, since Gray asked Fenty to name Henderson (Rhee's good friend and subordinate) as interim chancellor, people may be less inclined to vote Cheh out. I doubt it will be even close but it's possible it might be closer than usual. |

No, Hedgepath has a spotty employment history, has no community involvement or other ties, other than his kids attend a local school (in the same neighborhood where the incumbent resides).
He is not a serious candidate, has no platform (I supported Fenty will not be enough, particularly when Fenty is leaving the city with $300-400 Million in debt) and no built-in constituency. |

| Not sure any Republican has a chance in Ward 3 but its nice to see a challenge to Cheh. She's gone a bit whacky lately with this legislation to rehabilitate racoons and squirrels and unite them with their families. |
