| Three women in Nashville in March for a weekend trip. Would appreciate any suggestions for a nice hotel or B&B, activities other than the obvious such as Opry and Hall of Fame, and any restaurants or shopping. Nashville location is set so don't need alternate suggestions on that front. Thanks in advance. |

For hotels:
The Chloe, just opened and is super cute. Is offering a discount for stays between now and end of March. Located near Vanderbilt in Hillsboro Village so is walkable to good coffee, some breakfast staples (Biscuit Love and Pancake Pantry). Location is also nice if weather the good which March is a mixed bag you can also walk to the Parthenon on West End Ave or over to 12South which has a happening restaurant scene. Depending on budget I also recommend The Joseph as a higher end option which is downtown but feels like a quiet refuge from the mess that is Broadway. Is walkable to the Country Music Hall of Fame. Their in-house restaurant Yolan is fantastic as is their speakeasy Four Walls. SoHo House offers hotel rooms for non-members and is located in Wedgewood-Houston. The restaurant scene is constantly changing and reservations are essential for most places. I'd check out eater.com as they keep up with the hotspots. Some drink and dinner pairing ideas based on location: (Charmers for Cocktails and dinner at Fishmonger or the Optimist @ Neuhoff), (Urban Cowboy for cocktails and dinner at Lockeland Table in East Nashville), (margaritas at Bar Taco and dinner at The Henry, Locus, Sushi-San or Epice in 12 South), or (oysters and drinks at Henrietta Red and dinner at City House or Rolf and Daughters in Germantown). You could also do Pastis, Iggys, or Abba in Wedgewood Houston casual eats: Martins BBQ (multiple locations), Hattie Bs (Nashville hot chicken, multiple locations), Little Hats (Hillsboro Village and Germantown) |
| Will you have a car? |
How do you know Nashville so well |

I am the person who wrote the pairings— I live in Nashville now which is why I know so much and was trying to be helpful.
AI would have sent you to broadway. |

Go to the Listening Room for sure.
Hit the Broadway bars like Morgan Wallen’s, Bon Jovi, etc for drinks and live bands all day and night long in between other things. The music varies by floor and the rooftops are fun for good weather. Stay downtown so you can walk around and not worry about the drinking. 12 South area is fun for brunch, shopping, coffee. |
Someone is suggesting House of Cards. It doesn't look like my thing but do you have any thoughts as you live there? |
Yes, we will have a car. |
| We stayed in an apartment building walking distance to Broadway that was basically entirely Airbnbs- I think it was called the Burnham (if you look on Airbnb there are a zillion listings). The amenities are nice--pool, workout room, rock wall, parking garage. Average age at the place is mid-upper 20s although we were there with a teen. I would stay there again, just bc I liked the quality of the unit and the amenities (easily walkable to restaurants/fun stuff but easy access to car.) We also did a campy yet very fun golf cart tour. |
DP here. Are you the one who suggested The Chloe. We decided to stay here recently when visiting our kid who is at Vandy and we love it. Thank you for the recommendation. It is super cute and a lovely boutique hotel. I have not had a chance to try your other recommendations but thank you for this suggestion. |
| Adele’s for brunch. Amazing. Make a reservation |

My Nashville faves:
Country Music Hall of Fame. Don't miss the tour of RCA Studio B See a show at the Listening Room See a show at the Ryman Frist Museum I love Luke Bryan's rooftop bar--indoor/outdoor set up works in good weather and bad, and the music is always great (usually cover bands during the day). |
