You will need to up your budget to get in on the good side.

You don’t want to send your kids to Langley by just squeezing into the zip code plenty of good (if not better) fcps options out there. Get out of your closed mind.

If you're looking for a single-family house under $1.25 million, you'll have more choices in the Langley HS district than the McLean HS district, but they'll be out in Great Falls, not McLean.

What are other FCPS school districts I should look at? I am flexible so I appreciate your response.

New poster here. Madison, Oakton, Woodson. Woodson in particular will be more affordable than Langley, McLean, Madison, or Oakton.

I guess I am curious about the house itself? I figured it's actually good price for the location, appears to be quite convenient, and school zone is a nice bonus.

Also what's so bad about attending Cooper and Langley from this house? Isn't there other houses like this in the Langley school zone? And the Tysons condos too soon.

The schools for this house are Longfellow and McLean, not Cooper and Langley.

Oh I see! Then it's lesser a problem?

I live nearby! That area of tysons is great (e.g., walking to metro and Capital One Theater, events, and restaurants). There may be a lot of road noise from 267 at that house though.

This is definitely a single family home in the McLean pyramid. Your kid(s) would be able to walk to McLean if they wanted, and that location is definitely a good one for proximity to downtown McLean, 495, the Toll Road, etc.

If you want in, this is definitely a good option!

Too close to the toll road for noise and pollution

OMG
Hoarder house? Dead original owners who didn't maintain it at all? Rental that was trashed? Squatter crib?

Built in 1994 I doubt it has "great bones" and likely there is a lot of rotted wood maybe some structural. Frame with siding.

They tried to sell it repeatedly see zillow https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1650-Kirby-Rd-Mc-Lean-VA-22101/51757345_zpid/
