Question on GA vs GA Aspire placement sessions

Are there separate placement sessions for GA and GA Aspire? If you think you are likely at the GA Aspire level do you go to the GA sessions or will the Aspire sessions be later? Or does it depend on the club?

From our limited experience, some Clubs are utilizing one single session for placement onto both teams. One registration gets you signed up for an ID session and they will make offers for GA and offers for GA Aspire from those ID sessions.

However, read the wording of the ID session and unless it explicitly states the ID session is only for GA and/ or only for GA Aspire, you can assume the session will cover both teams.

Shoot as high as you can. You might be surprised. Also know that ID session may not be a one and done -they will invite some girls out to train with the team to see closer

As always, try to get on a team before tryout sessions.

Probably club-specific, but our club usually looks at the team you're on to determine a good starting place for your ID session. I've seen some girls go straight to GA, I've seen other start with Aspire, and others start with the 3rd team. Their next ID session will depend on performance during the previous one as I've seen some girls go up and others go down.

This is how SYC has historically done it. One giant cattle call.

Attend practices now. Try outs are not a good barometer.
