Hello, I received my first shipment of 2.5 Zepbound today. I am a little confused about the storing instructions and hoping I could get some help from experienced users here.
The instructions on paper say the medicine can be stored at room temperature for 21 days or store in refrigerator but do not bring back to room temperature if stored in refrigerator. I was just hoping to store at room temperature at home (about 70’ish degree) but given that it came in an ice pack, does that mean I need to keep it refrigerated? Also, prior to injecting can it be brought to room temperature- not sure I want to Inject cold medicine. Thanks for answering the newbie questions |

I store vials in fridge and take one out about a half hour before injecting.
It seems odd the instructions would say not to bring back to room temperature. I hadn’t seen that. |
| I leave mine in the fridge until the moment I inject it. I’ve been doing it this way for 6 months. It never occurred to me to do it any other way. |
| I store mine in the fridge and take a vial out of the fridge up to an hour before I inject them. I read that it hurts less to inject at room temperature. Folks on reddit have said you can store in the fridge and take out to store at room temperature for travel. |
| It comes essentially refrigerated but does say it can be stored at room temp for 21 days, so I have assumed that I can keep it in the refrigerator but take out a vial to travel several days before I inject. |
| OP here. Thank you so much for the replies. Sounds like refrigerating and then taking it out about an hour before injecting is the way to go. Totally appreciate the responses. |
Highly recommend the Zepbound sub on Reddit for more info. Some of them are a little crazy (definitely in denial about Zep causing hair loss, for example), but for the most part, they are a helpful bunch for questions like this (you can do a search and find what you need for the most part). |
