Echo won't play NPR

All of a sudden it won't play 88.5 WAMU when I say play NPR or WAMU or 88.5. Did something change?

Known problem. Google it. You have to specify something like "from NPR" or similar to make it work.

My parents had this problem and they were able to solve it by asking for National Public Radio. Asking for WAMU sent them to an excellent country music station.

I had no trouble getting it to pay NPR. Maybe your Echo is broken.

I have the same problem for nearly two weeks now. I could always figure out ways to get it to play in the past but now nothing works.

When I say “WAMU” it now plays a country music station but plays WAMU when I say “NPR”

Echo does this sometimes, you have to find what phrasing is recognized. My dad will tell it to play WITF and it plays a song “what the f&@k”….he has to specify 89.5 WITF radio.
Apparently it’s switching everyone to Alexa + and there are some technical glitches.

I can't stand my echo recently. It never wants to play my favorite pandora station either. I have to manually make it happen through the alexa app.
