| I know nothing about it beyond what you can find online. A friend of mine recommended it for my dc. Any experience? |
| Don’t go. It’s soon to close- so many financial issues! |
I don't think that's true. |

I am local to the area.
Campus is beautiful but sort of in the middle of not much - definitely suburban, not rural. Small classes; most recent entering class is 725 or so. D1 athletics and it “feels” athlete heavy although social life doesn’t necessarily revolve around sports. Doesn’t have a huge reputation in local hiring. Feels like it is a school for local UMC students who didn’t get into Providence. Closest comp to me would be Merrimack, north of the city? Lots of business majors. Bryant is also similar in an admitted student profile but has a fabulous local rep for business majors (I am assuming you’ve already looked at Bentley / Babson from an admit profile perspective if looking into business). I believe they are generous with merit aid. FWIW - I see their name a lot locally, they are introducing new online masters programs. Not good / bad / indifferent, good to see the school adapt and think of new revenue streams. Close to Foxboro (where the Patriots/Revolution play) and a large outdoor arena for concerts and roughly 35 minutes from Providence and a hair more to Boston. Accessible-ish by MBTA (commuter rail) to both. Not much to do in the area so my guess is that kids want cars as soon as possible. |
