Joint pain - testosterone cream

Anonymous
I have joint pain and frozen shoulder. The frozen shoulder has been going on since the spring. My doctor wants to prescribe testosterone cream. Has anyone used this and had luck with it reducing joint pain?

I would absolutely not take testosterone cream. It will deepen your voice and that will be permanent. I would look into physical therapy. It's very treatable with simple but painful exercises.

Very few women stop testosterone treatment due to negative side effects. Your body produces testosterone and the idea isn't to spike it to unusual levels. HRT helped me significantly with joint pain.

This is false information - I've been taking testosterone cream for four years and my voice remains feminine, no body hair growth. The amount they give women is much smaller than the amount they give men or trans individuals.

Testosterone cream is in HRT creams in a very low dose. I've taken it for 15 years. No change in voice. No hair growth.

Came to say regular HRT improved my joint pain. Are you on HRT already OP?
