In TN. My husband loves it but I think it looks cold and sterile. It's a split level style where half the house is the basement.I feel like the basement looks like a morgue.

The pipes in the basement are off putting. Over a million. Wow.

I'm with you.

It’s truly terrible. I don’t know construction code in TN, but the steps without handrails and raised deck and things at the entrance would all be code violations. On top of being hideous, it all looks cheaply done

It’s awful. It’s Tennessee? It looks like a return trailer. I don’t want to offend but I wouldn’t even use that as an air bnb. It’s terrible.

This area in TN is really expensive. 1.2 million is not an outrageous price. It sits on 2 acres....my husband loves it mostly because of the outbuildings. I just can't do it. I like modern but not this kind of modern.

This is one of the ugliest houses I've seen. It looks like an AI rendering.

That white basement is insane. It looks like a treatment room in an in-patient facilty.

I don’t love it.

My house is similar, one of two floors is below ground—but the whole side of it that faces outside is window/sliding glass doors.

OMG you are right. I just thought of what it reminds me of....Stranger Things, specifically, the Hawkins facility where Papa kept Elle and the other kids.

The only thing I know about Franklin, TN, is that it definitely didn't used to be a $1m house town. Every year when we visited my grandparents in Black Mountain, NC, my dad would take us ruby mining in Franklin, which was great fun, but I think the mines have long run dry except for seeding with cheap/very flawed Indian rubies.

Anyway, I'm really surprised a house in Franklin could ask for $1.2m, unless things have changed a whole lot. So maybe you'd be buying the most expensive/overpriced house on the block. But maybe I'm wrong and there's a huge new company there.

Are we talking about the same place? This is a suburb outside of Nashville.....it's where a lot of celebrities/entertainers live. This area has seen a real estate market with incredibly overpriced homes but they do sell at these inflated prices.
