Ideas for a 17yo boy birthday

DS wanted to take a small group to Bush Gardens this weekend for his birthday but DH and I have to nix because of a mix of work and other family issues. Any ideas of something local & fun we could suggest instead? Thanks!

Busch Gardens is over 3 hours away right? You were going to do an overnight? Or a day trip?

Why not arrange for high tea with him and his friends, hmmm? Boys can enjoy tea too you know.

Just do Bush Gardens but plan it for a different weekend that works for you. He’s 17, this is probably the last birthday party you have for him and it’s sweet he even wants you to help. Be thankful he’s not asking for the car and to go on his own with friends for the weekend.
