We missed a deadline for a parent essay for one of the schools we applied to. Would they still accept it if we sent it in a few days late or should we move on from this school?

But how did you submit an incomplete application?

Just email the admissions director and send it in! They understand that every school has a slightly different schedule and parents are juggling a lot. They will not fault you for it (if they do, you don’t want them anyway). Good luck with admissions.

Submit it ASAP and, if you have a good reason for submitting it late, email the admissions director to explain. Most schools say something along the lines of “to be considered in the first round, all materials must be submitted by X deadline.” But, I am not aware of any schools that will not consider an application at all. So, it’s worth trying.
