Trouble Finding Covid Vaccine for Infant

Anonymous
My pediatrician does not offer Covid vaccines and I cannot find someone that does for infants. Does anyone have suggestions on an office that will give Covid vaccines to 6-12 month babies.

Call your local public health department. Also look at manufacturer's sites.

Sometimes small practices cannot afford to have continual stocks of rare vaccines because they have unusual storage requirements or expire quickly.

There’s a reason for that

You’re having trouble because it’s not recommended at that age.

AAP recommends Covid For ages 6months-2 years for kids at moderate or severe risk.

Ask your pediatrician where they recommend you go.

It’s really a vote with your feet issue. In the DMV there are so many pediatric practices, losing patience is actually a problem for them. Leave the practice and tell them why.
