| 13yo son has inattentive ADHD (medicated) and mild ASD. He attends a mainstream private and most of his classmates are doing CIT or sleep away camps this summer. He is not interested in those and is a bit on the immature side in terms of interests - like not into learning to be a camp counselor yet. I'm not sure what he should do this summer. He has interest in music and sports. Is he too old for regular camps? Can anyone suggest local camps for 13yo? |
| My 13 yo AudHD kid loves Camp Jupiter in Rock Creek Park. It seems to attract a lot of nice, imaginative, quirky kids. |

Camp Accomplish has some good day (and overnight) programs, depending on where you are located. https://campaccomplish.org/camp-programs/
They do have sleepover options if you're further away, and its nice because siblings can attend the same camp! |

| Montgomery College has a wide variety of summer programs, including for that age. |
| Is he a rising 8th or 9th grader? I think a lot of camps go by grade - if he is rising 8th he should still be in range for a lot of them. Less so if 9th. |
What does that mean? |
| Try TIC. |
