Hi, can anyone suggest one, preferably with low ozone risk, quiet when running and affordable? My friend has IQ air..and that one is over thousand dollars...
Look for one with a hepa filter and check how much the filter replacements cost.

I like the Blue Air ones. Very quiet and good cleaning.

coway hepa filter. its square and either white or black
We use Blue Air in our bedrooms and living room.
I really like levoit - I got it on Amazon for both the master bedroom and kids rooms. I do replace the filters about once a month versus the 3-5 months recommended. We have pets so I can see the dander and dust on the filters when swapping them. It helps me especially in spring/summer/fall when I like to have the windows open for fresh air.
Go to Costco.
I have dyson filter fans and they're great, but the filters get pricey.
Blueair is fine. Cleared the Canadian wildfire smoke well, which is why we originally got them. We have allergies and asthma.
me too, it's very quiet |
Don’t need to overthink it, any decent model will be a huge increase in your indoor air quality. We have a large Blueair in the kitchen and one small one in each bedroom. They do a great job.
Costco Winifred, they come with extra filter
Winix costco
Another vote for Levoit. The Vital 100S, currently $113.95 on Amazon. I have one in each bedroom. |
I bought Medify Air -- all of the doctors offices have them.
