Restaurant in the Kennedy Center

Is it any good? I hear it's crazy expensive and we're planning to go there before a show for my birthday.

I've always head it is more memorable for the views than the food, but maybe that has changed recently.

I was there about 5 years ago and was the new restaurant. The food was decent and yes, it is pretty expensive.

Yep, and if you pay $20 to park it's really adding up. But on the other hand, it's convenient so you have to figure that in.

Take the metro and there's a bus that picks you up to take you to the Kennedy Center. We ate at the cafeteria style restuarant. It was good but pricey. There's the fancy and expensive restaurant above it I think.

If you want, I think Marcel's will give you a limo/sedan ride to and from the KenCen as part of their pre-theater menu.

Thanks particuarly for the Marcel's recommendation. We couldn't get a reservation at first, but kept checking and got one or 7PM!

last time we went to Kennedy center we ate a small restaurant in foggy bottom. parked on the street and food was very good. we didnt make reservations though which landed us in the bar. i can't recall the name but check this out:
