Are body shops normally closed on the weekend?

It’s been a long time since we needed any collision repair. Insurance says we can pick a shop, but the top rated ones are closed on the weekends. Is that indicative of the few that are open today being really bad? Or is it a coincidence?

I don’t think business hours has anything to do with quality of services they provide

Our car is currently in the shop do to being rear ended. They were open until noon today.

Sometimes places that are in high demand can be more restrictive with their hours.

Many shops have half-days for drop off and pick up. They too like to have a weekend with their kids, wives, neighbors, watch college and pro sports and generally do the weekendy things you enjoy.
