| Trish the Commish just released a PR that they are adding a GA-Aspire League in Florida. This is basically following the ECNL-RL model from last year when they added a bunch of "leagues" in states. It is basically taking the old USYS State Leagues and rebranding them. USYS did such a poor job planning the last few years that ECNL and GA are going to just come and take over those leagues. USYS should just give in and merge with one of them quickly. |

It only makes sense. Both Aspire and RL leagues have become meaningful pathways to a national championship and ID series, showcase ect. If ECNL NL and GA are established, expect the RL and Aspire 2nd level (usually with the same clubs) to become established as well.

Same garbage as 15 years ago but with new names - US soccer is a sham and I’m glad to hold EU passports so my children can actually be trained by real coaches. Feel sorry for yall stuck here ngl |

It's sad USYS is falling apart. It was the closest thing we ever had to a system that catered from local, statewide to national that included promotion and relegation and state cups. I mean it STILL has those things BUT in our state most competitive clubs now field their 2nd or 3rd teams within that framework. |
