Help with beard trim for Elderly in North Arlington

Anonymous
It’s increasingly difficult for my dad to get out of the house for a beard trim and I did a pretty awful job, so need to take him somewhere now. Can you recommend a person or place in North Arlington?

I take my dad to Vincent at Lee Barbershop in that rundown strip mall by Preston's Pharmacy. He's not there on Thursdays.

This may not help OP, but I wanted to share this.

My ILs and DH's aunt are our neighbors. Once a month, the family gets together with them and we get another neighbor (a hairdresser) to gives haircuts and shaves to our entire family - cousin's family, aunt, ILs, our family at my IL's backyard. She also gives mani-pedi to the elderly and trims their nails. This has been a fixture for last 10 years. With just some breaks during COVID.

If you are taking care of your parents or ILs, you should do everything possible for them to be able to live independently for as long as they can - safely and with dignity. You should therefore also cultivate a network of people who can help with their care in place, much before they need it.
