I've been saying this since last January when the first ICE renditions were happening. Where is the federal govt going to come up with the billions (trillions?) of dollars in civil lawsuits that are coming to the tens of millions of victims of extrajudicial law enforcement actions? My partial solution was to claw back (with penalties and interest) all the illicit money that corporations and people will have acquired during this current administration. But that will take a lot of balls from Congress, who will no doubt be among the affected.

op you need to work on your reading comprehension skills. From the article you posted it says he will be paid 500k and receive reimbursement for therapy. Presumably the 500k was for firing him without cause and dragging his name through the mud.

Unless your therapist is Oprah, therapy doesn’t cause 500k.

On Monday, WKRN News 2 obtained a copy of a settlement agreement and settlement authorization indicating APSU will pay Michael $500,000 and reimburse therapeutic counseling services for Michael.

Special tax on MAGA voters and corporate supporters. Won’t be hard at all to figure it out. Tax them until they have nothing left.

It’s not just dumb-it’s illegal. Glad the fired prof is getting the money plus compensation for therapy.
