New CBS Nightly News anchor is worse than expected. He was nearly harmless on the morning show, but is terrible at night.

Just think about the people who have sat in that chair: Walter Conrkite, Dan Rather, Bob Schieffer...some amazing, respected names. Most recently, Jon Dickerson and Maurice DuBois were awesome.

I saw the clips. Middle-of-the-night cable news is more professional. It was like a small market local news broadcast.

I like the CBS Sunday Morning show and have watched 60 Minutes for years, but I am concerned those are going to turn into mouthpieces for MAGA.

Scott Pelley was the best. His replacement (I cannot recall her name) was okay, but caused me to stop watching CBS evening news. She was nice & professional, but not good enough to overcome the competition.

I read that Bari Weiss originally wanted Bret Baier from Fox News or Anderson Cooper. Both turned it down.

But that’s quite a range of political leanings between those two.

They’re actually Gen X and they have that insufferable wannabe hip and appear younger than they are obsession. They’re both dumber than rocks in real life. And Katy waited too long to have kids, which always makes women weird. They all freak out about being the “old mom.”

I wasn't aware until I googled that Keith Obermann had been a major sugar daddy to Katie Tur + had dated her as a much older man.
