| We are trying to lottery into Latin for our current 4th grader but in MySchool DC there are 2 Latin campuses - which one is the best/better middle school? |
| 2nd Street is the original and more established. But Cooper has a great new building and lots of momentum. |
| check out which is closer to you. if its about the same, put 2nd street first. people will chime in to say they put cooper first but thats almost always because cooper is closer, a sibling is already at cooper, a close friend with sibling preference is planning to attend cooper, or the different language offerings really matter to them. lottery odds are low enough the order is not worth agonizing about |

Go away spammer, your site is just a bunch of publicly available data dumped into some AI chart generator. Yout extremely unhelpful post is a great example of how little actual knowledge you are bringing to the discussion. |
| No skin in the game but 2nd has the sports fields. I would choose 2nd over Cooper if your kid plays sports. |
| I think I heard that 2nd Street is also redoing their fields, which currently are pretty terrible. So, another plus. |
| Not much difference. Go with the more convenient location. Also look at languages. Cooper has Spanish, 2nd St does not. |
| this. or just list 2nd first and see what shakes out. |
Kids at Cooper can go to 2nd for sports. I think there's a bus? Would go to Cooper if it was closer. If 2nd is closer or they are equidistant and your kid is an athlete, edge to 2nd. |
