One of the BOE slideshows recently said that all ESY was going to be 7/7-8/9 this year and would be Mon-Thurs.
Has anyone else heard this? The math seems to be that less hours would be offered this way. I know there are many many different ESY programs. Not sure if this applies to all/some or might be incorrect information. Camp registration is happening soon and I’d like to start planning. |

| ESY is completely terrible every year and not worth the hassle. You are better off paying for camp and tutors. |

| On most schools it's only 3 hours a day. |

| four days a week, just mornings was what ESY was in DC, too . not easy to manage with two working parents |

I am from mcps. I cannot do only 3 hours a day for working parents, so I would probably opt out. |
