| DC loves painting and drawing and would like to take art classes. It seems like a lot of “Arts Camps” and afterschool programs don’t actually teach art, they supply basic materials and some ideas for craft projects. Where can we go for actual classes? |

| As others have said where do you live? I feel like that really matters. Art House 7 in Arlington has great classes for what you’re talking about. They have summer camps as well. |
I understand art studios to be places where artists can rent space to work. Not sure they typically organize art classes for kids. Is this a misunderstanding on my part? |
| There is a place in Vienna called New York School of Arts that offers art classes. My daughter has enjoyed their painting and drawing classes. |
