Carrie is fit with a gorgeous body, lithe and graceful, beautiful face with gorgeous eyes and stunning smile and full head of thick hair. She dresses stylishly and sexily. She is flirty fun and quirky.

I think the way people talk about Carrie being ugly like SJP isn't a real person is strange and mean. I actually saw a substack about this where a Jewish woman said the discourse made her feel bad because the things people criticize most are SJP's most "Jewish" features (long face, prominent nose, curly hair).
SJP herself has said that being on some shitty "Ugliest Women in Hollywood" list when she was in her 30s did a number on her. Sarah Jessica does have a long face, but come on. There is nothing ugly or "horsey" about her. 
From every angle, curly hair, straight hair, blond or brunette she is objectively not ugly. I think it's more that she's just not conventionally pretty. I do think her styling lately, both on AJLT and IRL leaves a lot to be desired. The too dark fake tan, the bleached blonde hair...but I think she is still very pretty. |

Oh great, now we're gonna be subjected to the people who think hating Carrie Bradshaw is deep. Omg, she was male-centered (just like all of her friends), slept with a married dude (as opposed to Samantha, who slept with married men frequently), and demanded Charlotte's engagement ring (even though she did no such thing and her rant at Charlotte's apartment was about the fact Charlotte told her talking about money wasn't "classy"). How terrible.
Then the same people rant about how there are no complicated female characters on TV anymore. The absurd hatred for a fictional character makes me defend a fictional character which is really annoying. |

Unlike Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte who have sex with someone new basically every episode. Some fan blog years ago actually tallied up the number of sex partners each girl had and Carrie, Charlotte, and Miranda all have 17 while Samantha has 44. |

And I agree the full head of curls when everyone else had flat ironed stick straight hair gave her more personality. But she does not have a pretty face. come on we have eyes. |
