| Does anyone have this sweater? I am typically somewhere between a 4/6 and wear both Small and Medium but I am busty. Need to order online and trying to figure out which to order. This is for the Marina, not the cropped Marina, style. |
| I don’t have the Marina but I do have the Marin and another style from La Ligne and I found both run large and I could have definitely sized down in both so I would probably say S for you. |
| I just looked too on Shopbop and they sometimes have sizing comments and for the Marina the comment says runs large, size down. |
| Thank you! |
| So I think this sweater is really expensive. Even with a high HHI, I can't get myself to purchase it.... are there ever any sales or deals? |
Not really. It’s a great sweater. But yea. It’s $350. |
| I think take your smaller size. |
The Marina one is cotton and more like $275. In my opinion, they rarely go on sale. I have an easier time paying more for cashmere but it is a great sweater. Jenni Kayne has some similar, probably around the same price but they have been having more sales lately. They’ll do 20-25% off promotions. |
| $350 is cheap for a sweater. |
Ok |
| I have a couple other La Ligne sweaters and the quality is great. I wear a size smaller in these but am not especially busty. FWIW I bought both secondhand in great condition for less than $100 each. |
| La Ligne hardly ever goes on sale, but their items are high quality. I love their dresses. I do find their sweaters to be oversized. |
| La Ligne is my absolute favorite--love their sweaters. Very high quality and, yes, slightly oversized. They do have an end-of-year sale/Black Friday-ish sale, as well as Re-Ligne (re-sale). |
| Use the size chart. It always better to go off your actual measurements. |
I also balked at the $350 price point but did it after seeing in person at their Dallas shop. It’s honestly my favorite sweater. Thick, drapes beautifully, holds its shape, hand washes fabulously. Looks very high quality as well. I want three more! |
