My 13 year old’s hair is changing texture as she ages and has become wavy / curly. Mine tends to wave too.
We just met with a stylist to help us learn better how to care for our hair and I want to get a new hairdryer (mine’s really old) with a finger diffuser attachment. The stylist recommended Nordstrom rack, but even there I see a few options. Any suggestions? Ideally under $200 would be nice unless there’s a reason I really should be spending more. Thanks! |

Go to Target and pick one out for like $35. Conair makes decent ones. No need to spend a lot on something like this.

| There is literally nothing about a diffuser that would make it better just because it’s expensive/high-end. It’s pieces of plastic shaped like fingers. Agree with the PP go to target. |
| Marshall’s & TJM has plenty |
| Amazon. Just get one that will snap on to your existing hair dryer. |

I have curly hair. For years I have sworn by the Black Orchid diffuser which attaches to your existing hair dryer.
However, I have started using one of those satin hoods with a hose that attaches to your hair dryer so that you have warm air circulating gently inside a bubble on your head. They're like $8. It's faster drying and creates less frizz than a diffuser, and I can do my makeup at the same time, but the hood can slightly flatten your roots unlike the diffuser. Tip: don't get a peach color hood like I did, it looks like a bodily organ of some kind. |
| Dyson Air Wrap has a diffuser attachment. |
