| Thinking about staying in an Xcaret property to take advantage of the parks being included. Any thoughts? Is it worth it versus staying at a non Xcaret property and buying park passes? We have never been to that area. |

We really enjoyed our stay at Xcaret hotel. We had a swim up room that was absolutely amazing. The food was excellent, with lots of fresh, local options. There was an organic breakfast spot in a cave that was spectacular. The hotel is gorgeous with secret waterslides and kayaking.
We also really enjoyed the parks. They were fun and we didn't have any issue with lines, even though it was a holiday week. The hotel has a beach area onto a cove instead of directly to the ocean, so it's not great for those who want a real beach experience. But it's great if you have concerns about your kid getting washed away or are concerned about seaweed issues. Those aren't a problem at all. |

We went to Xcaret and stayed onsite last summer and it was really great. Absolutely worth it if you want to visit the parks. So easy, and all admission included.
The grounds themselves are pretty great as well. We had a blast. |

I have family that likes to stay at the occidental xcaret and they love it. It's a very large resort and quite family friendly.
I haven't been to the higher end ones (xcaret arte is theonly one I know) but they look AMAZING. |
