Legally-required insurrection memorial plaque isn't displayed in Capitol.
https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/jan-6-plaque-made-honor-law-enforcement-found-128905408 Funny how laws don't apply to the Capitol. |

It’s sad that nobody else cares enough to reply to your threads on this.
And it’s despicable that the pedophile defender Mike Johnson hasn’t put the plaque up in the Capitol. |
| This tracks. GOP don’t support police officers. |
| At this point the defenders of the capitol on that day are lucky they aren’t subject to arrest for attempting to block the J6 criminals from entering the building. |
| Go call the cops, OP. Lol. |
| Speaker Jeffries will order the plaque installed on Jan 6 of next year. |
You think the consistent, flagrant violation by this "President" and his party of their oaths of office is funny? |
|
I read that 100 Democratic Congresspeople are putting the plaques in their offices because Johnson won’t allow them in the common areas.
How dare Republicans say they support the police and Democrats don’t. They don’t even support the Capitol Police who were bludgeoned to death in an attempt to protect their sorry behinds. |
| I think the Dems should call for a censure or some other action against Johnson for refusing to comply. |
Yep, and in doing so the Republicans will have just drawn more attention to their betrayal of the country and of these officers. |
they truly don't. police are unionized government employees paid by tax money. the only time the GOP supports them is when they can manipulate them to be their henchmen. |
Johnson wouldn't care. |

Glad that at least a few Republican Senators have the decency to stand up for the Capitol Police who fought and were injured and in some cases killed, to protect the lives of Congress. Too bad that thom tillis only found his morality when he decided not to run again. Shame on House Republicans. They do not support our law enforcement. |
