Developmental or less competetive AAU teams in PG County

Anonymous
Do these exist? My 12 year old (class of 2032) would love to play now that the middle school season is over but he isn't good enough for elite AAU teams. He is signed up for a Boys and Girls Club for now so we are looking for options for the Spring. I am also considering just putting him in classes or with a trainer instead since it seems like that might be the better option.

There are definitely less competitive teams, but there aren't less competitive leagues. Some teams literally never win. Often times kids will try to play down on a development team. As annoying as it is. Though in middle school that would be like playing on an elementary school team.
