Female Peloton instructors look so fake

Anonymous
I'm trying to find new instructors and do new things. I prefer women instructors. But they are all so shiny, in full makeup for a workout class. Do they ALL get botox and plastic surgery? I don't mean to be nasty, but I think the look is awful and I don't want to work out with fake, plastic people, I want to work out with people I would be IRL friends with. I don't think a single one of them doesn't do botox. Smoky eye to a weight lifting class, what?

Try Christine. I do think he make-up has gotten heavier over the past couple years. For me its the blowout hair that looks fake.

I think they look fine but I also don't care because their workouts are really helpful for me. They are basically going on TV every time they teach a class so I get why they don't look like I look when I go to an exercise class.

I like Emma, and she doesn’t look like the stereotype you’ve described. Check her out!

I like Emma and Robyn. Jen and Christine look more down to earth but they aren’t among my favorites.

I think it's weird that you only notice on the women. The men are waxed to within an inch of their life, have sculpted/gelled hair, and I suspect at least 3 of them oil up before hitting their spot. It's a fitness job and an entertainment job.

Anna Greenberg, Christine, and Tunde don't usually wear a lot of noticeable makeup (barring Halloween rides or something).

Tunde and Jess Sims do bike boot camps and are relatively non plastic. Jess does include way too much motivation mumbo jumbo (for me) but on balance worth it.

OP said she prefers to work out with the women, pretty common

Well, you ARE being "nasty."

I don't want to work out with people who don't wear makeup or use botox. How about that?

I love Mayla, Leanne, Hannah Frankson and Emma - they are generally pretty low key on the makeup.

I admit I don’t like it when makeup is noticeable— even lipstick— on a trainer but ymmv.

Agreed, I like these two.

Who cares? I love Tunde and Katie for strength, Denis for cycling and Jermaine for strength. They pass the vibe check and have good music for my workouts.

The London instructors—Jocelyn, Hannah F and Susie—don’t wear noticeable makeup.

I do peloton tread for running and think Mariana Fernandez is more low key/not overdone. I also like Robyn.
