How much does AP score offset bad grades?

| I’m not taking about Top 25 schools but for schools in the 26-100 — do good AP scores (4s and 5s) help offset Bs and Cs in the classes? |

| Multiple B's and C's or a one off? If multiple, I really doubt the scores could offset. |

There is nothing wrong with a B in the class, but multiple Cs could be an issue.
DC had a C in AP Chem and dropped it. They are now getting a C in AP stat. Oi vay. They got As/Bs in the other AP classes, and mostly 3s/4s on the AP exams so far. They got into Penn State. |
