Title says it all. I don’t have time to cook, but I want good soup—not anything from a mix or can AND not Panera.

| Whole Foods? |
| Wegman's has good soup. |
| Parkway deli has good matzo ball soup. |
I like Parkway, but their matzo ball soup is completely flavorless and their matzo balls are too dense. Moreover, their carrots are undercooked. |

I have had good lentil soup at the quick service version of Lebanese Taverna whose name I forgot. Also, good Avgolemono at Gyroland. Lots of great soups at Asian restaurants too.
What kind of soup do you want? |
| I like this place: https://lamastable.base44.app/ |
| Don’t know about soup but silver spring mall has a new food court upstairs and the potato place I think it’s called Tates Tatos or whatever is REALLY REALLY good. Since you’re in MOCO |
| I used to love the soup at La Madeleine. They closed in Rockville, but I think they still have a location in Gaithersburg (which I haven’t visited). If you’re in that area, you might give them a try. (My favorite was the tomato basil soup.) |
| Mom’s market has a Naked Lunch stand that has good soup. Roots also has good soup. |
| I like Souper Girl |
Yes, Lebanese Taverna/LebTav has fantastic lentil soup. I like the lentil soup at Puree Juice Bar in Bethesda as well. Other favorites: the birria ramen (though very salty) and vegan red fire opal from Jinya Ramen and tom yum from ThaiPad in DC. |

When we go to LebTav, we buy 4 lentil soups, one for each of my kids to eat right away and one each to save for later. This is the only way I’ve been able to get them to eat lentils. Or spinach. |

Go to La Limena Grill in Rockville. Chupe de Camarones - shrimp stew is amazing.
Chupe de Camarones - Fresh shrimps cooked in a creamy broth with rice, squash, potato, peas, corn, cheese, milk and topped with perfect poached egg and herbs. |
