I'm wondering if people in the DC area own long johns. Its been colder than usual and soooo windy making it pretty uncomfortable to be out in.
|
Yes, I have base layers (from Costco or Amazon) that are lightweight, thin, stretchy, comfortable, breathable legging sort of garment and it is fantastic to wear under pants.
|
I have a ski base layer set but no, I don't really wear long johns here in DC.
I only wear them when skiing
I own them along with base layers.
I have silk top and bottom.
Cuddl Duds - extra warmth but soft
I don't, but one of my friends got merino base layers for xmas and is over the moon
Yes, but I’ve had them a long time and don’t wear them all that often.
Yes! I put them on my Christmas wishlist every year. It's cold in my office and outside.
Yes, for skiing
I had them when I lived in Ohio several decades ago. I'm sure there are much better fabrics now so they don't feel so bulky. I have to say that lately it's been so cloudy and windy in DC on top of the cold that I might just invest in some for my daily walks.
Yeah but even though I love wool, my skin wants to be next to cotton unless I’m backpacking or skiing.
I have them for skiing. I pulled them out the other day when I took the dog for a walk. It was very nice. I didn't feel the wind cut through me.
Long johns for skiing, WoolX merino leggings to wear to the office under work clothes (my office is freezing, no space heaters allowed).
