An admissions rep for Adelphi visited my son’s school. He was interested and applied. I’m concerned that the only reviews online I can find describe the college as a commuter college.

Anyone with personal experience? Is it a typical traditional college experience or a campus where most commute?

It's pretty heavily, but not exclusively, commuter. A LOT of Long Island kids. Great honors program, strong in nursing and business. Will offer heaps of merit aid to strong students. Definitely worth visiting to check out.

Commuter school. Tell your kid to take a crash course in Long Island high schools.
