Does anyone know what happened? Why did the old owners sell? Who are the new owners and why are they so awful at baking quality products?

We used to get cakes there for many years, and I don’t think another cake shop used to come close. They were so fresh, made with high quality ingredients and were so consistent. Unfortunately they are below average now.

I asked Google AI. It says reviews mentioned original ownersxas recentlybas late 2024 but 2025 reviews began complaining about quality especially holiday offerings being fewer and poor ingredients and service.

Oh no! This makes me sad to hear. We have loved their marble mousse ribbon cake in the past - always what we get for birthdays. I am afraid to try it now!
