Considering sleepaway camp at Camp Letts and have a few questions:
1) If three friends of the same age/gender are all attending, they can't all request to be in the same cabin, right? What are the chances they end up in the same cabin anyway (i.e. how many cabins are there per gender/age group? 11 year old girls, if that matters.) Or if not, how often can they expect to see each other? Do they group kids of the same age together for many activities, or not really? Do they have to sit with their cabin at meals and whole-camp activities or is it free choice? 2) If two siblings of different ages (7 and 11) and genders attend, will they be able to see each other much/at all, or will they be pretty separate most of the week? Also, unrelatedly, can anyone confirm whether they now have AC in all cabins? And we'd love to hear any general feedback on Camp Letts too! Thanks so much! |
| You can request they be in the same cabin and we have found them to be pretty accommodating of this. Once my daughter was going to have to be bumped down a cabin in age to be with a friend who is young for her grade and my daughter chose not to do that but still saw her friend. The activities aren’t all by cabin. My kids have gone to camp at the same time and definitely saw each other a bunch |

Yes, all have A/C now
Yes, kids will see each other every day (in dining hall for meals, definitely, possibly for some evening activities, but not every night, possibly in passing of activities during the day) Make a circle request. Person A requests to be in person B's cabin, person B requests to be in person C's cabin, person C requests to be in person A's cabin. DD did this with a 6 person friend group, worked. Both our kids enjoy going to Camp Letds |
