Why did Jimmy Kimmel do an address to the UK?

Anonymous
The UK censors free speech and is dealing with extremism so I am confused why Jimmy Kimmel addressed them to complain about Trump. Did he pay for this himself?

That's a false dichotomy.

Jimmy Kimmel is obviously speaking where he is free to speak. And his opinions are valid. Whether you agree or not.

In the UK, the annual alternative Christmas message is a message broadcast by Channel 4 since 1993, as a sometimes humorous and sometimes serious alternative to the traditional Royal Christmas message.
This year, they chose Kimmel. There is a lot of grave concern over the censorship of valid news sources in the USA, and concerns over the trump administration in general. Remember, UK had a front row seat watching the Nazi party destroy Europe, and there are familiar signs occurring.
Kimmel triumphed in the face of the bully.

The UK restricts hate speech, defamation, incitement and indecency in the name of public safety and public order.

Not quite what the OP is suggesting.

Hate speech is usually defined as speech I don't agree with. Nice.

I don't think the definition of "hate speech" is developed around your individual preferences.

Jimmy Kimmel has a very high opinion of himself and thinks the world needs to hear his views. In that regard, he's a lot like Trump. Both men are truly obnoxious.

"Voters"?

You mean general populace?

There is no way of knowing about "voters" because they definitely are not voting in US elections.
You understand this, correct
??

Agree. Reminds me of Alec Baldwin in that he mocks and criticizes Trump yet is just as narcissistic as Trump.

The UK is allowing Sharia Law to take over too many areas. If you want to talk hate, do some research on how tolerant life is under Sharia.

Well at least I know that Sharia Law has no jurisdiction whatsoever in the UK.
What a moron you are.
