Is ground beef a pizza topping where you live?

I'm in Arlington, and some places have "meatball" which often winds up as seasoned ground beef.

| My mom used to make pizza topped with ground beef when I was a kid. I have seen it on menus—but don’t know which ones because it’s not something I would usually order. As others have said, meatballs are a very common topping. |

Oh, no. No way. Ground sausage, yes, especially in the Boston area. Usually "sweet" (not hot spicey fennel type sausage.
I have seen meatball toppings on menus in the DC area but never have eaten that. |

My mom used to make “mock pizza “. Brown chopped meat in a frying pan, add jarred sauce, pour into pie dish, cover with mozzarella cheese and bake.
I’ve had pizza with meatballs as toppings, but not sprinkled ground beef as a topping. |
