Unless something’s changed in the past year, Tulane doesn’t issue full ride scholarships at this stage. The student needs to apply for such scholarships and they are determined in a separate evaluation. Decisions typically are made in February. |

My son applied EA (1480, DC area public, good ec’s) got 25K distinguished scholars merit scholarship but he applied for one of their full ride scholarships. I had thought that the 25K merit meant he didn’t get the full ride one… but maybe he’ll hear about that in February? |

| Are your kids thinking of attending? Mine would love to, but only got $15k in merit. Which means it’s about $80k still. |

Mine needs to visit still but on paper it’s such a good fit that we might try to make it work even with just 25K off the sticker price. Maybe he’ll get one of the bigger scholarships… that would tip the balance for sure. |
