F4C

Does anyone have experience with F4C soccer training? Have seen some ads and location is convenient. Looking for something smaller and focused on the individual player then the large group classes. Maybe private training depending on price.

Yes. My son has done their small group training and summer camps for the last year. My son liked it and improved. Coach Vera cares about the kids and having them learn the skills. The only reason we are not doing it this winter is that the days and times for my kid’s age group didn’t work out for our schedule.

Most training is not necessary.

This is false like a $3 bill. Unprofessional, rude, on phone at times instead of actually doing what he’s paid for, skims his HS/College ‘employees’ out of money. Also aggressively pushes you to sign some bizarre 6 or 12 month contract to secure the money upfront. Run from this like the plague.

We went to a trial session, it was ok nothing great. Their business model of signing up for 3 days a week was just entirely too much, I don't really understand how any player playing for a club would have that many days available for extra training.

Usually if they are pressuring you to sign up for an agressive package and require 3x days per week is a red flag. Also, delegating HS/College level coaches is a mixed bag. Likely that is fine for u10 and under, but at u11 and up when technique matters and motivation matters, there is a real need for qualified coaching.

My kids did both winter training and summer camp with F4C. We’re only had a positive experience with Coach Vera for both. I was never pressured to sign a long term contract, and he was very professional when talking to us.

The only reason we stopped was due to schedule. Anecdotally I’ve seen kids who have been with him for years.

Not fake. That was our experience with F4C for the last year. I was not asked to sign a contract. I was not told we HAD to do 3 days. In fact we didn’t. When my kid was rec we did 2 days. When he moved to travel we dropped down to one day. I’m sorry if you had a bad experience. As for how he pays the younger coaches, I really can’t say. I haven’t asked him about how he runs his business. It was not hs kids working with my U10 year old. They were at least in their 20s.

Sure of course you don't HAVE to do 3 days. The price structure they advertise is the same $$ whether you go 1 day or 3 days. Did you get a different rate than advertised?

Yes, it was a lower rate. And his website says something along the lines of asking about options if you can’t do all the days (I don’t remember the exact wording).

I’m not sure why that one pp is trying to convince everyone there’s something shady going on here. I specifically remember both a per session and per month price. There is no all or nothing in the pricing…

I think pp is confusing business. There is another business futurelitez.. or something like that. They pressure you to sign and it is a contract.
