Related, but I don’t think it’s the same. They don’t specify “great” so they’re not as dead set on prestige and they don’t mention social (which I think of opposite of striver), so schools like Tulane that would be a good fit for the previous thread may not be a fit.

100% agree, I had the same thought. Tulane would fit on that thread, but def not on this one. This seems like more of a Rice/Tufts/Carleton/Grinnell thread. I love the PP comment about this thread being for Ravenclaws who are also Hufflepuffs!

This is everyone's concern these days.

Yale, Rice, Brown, MIT, WashU, Notre Dame all seem to be pretty sane and collaborative today. I'd add Chicago and Vanderbilt today. These are not the cutthroat schools of yore. All these schools have a vibe that's pretty welcoming and collaborative.
