Infertility Support and Discussion
My fresh cycle at SG failed (chemical) with 2 blastocysts, but I froze another two that were rated very high. Given the fresh transfer with 2 blasts (that were also very good) failed, I'm having a hard time believing that the FET would be any better. For those of you who have done a FET at SG, what are your experiences thawing embryos at the blast stage (obviously a fear since I only have two) and anyone have success with a FET after a failed fresh cycle??
I did. First cycle, transferred 1 blast, BFN. Then did FET and transferred 1 blast - BFP. The RE (Dr.Saffan) told me that the success rates for the FET's are exactly the same as the fresh cycles with their latest data.
I know people who have gotten pregnant this way- several actually. I have frozen embryos at SG too. Best of luck to you!
I had a successful natural cycle FET (not as SG) after a failed fresh cycle so I know it works and I have seen lots of success stories on other IF boards. good Luck
