Scores are out. What’s the verdict?

How did you get your child’s scores? Email or snail mail from school?

And how were your kid’s scores?

I’m dubious.

Do you work at a private school and have special access?

I believe ADW schools get the scores and share them with parents first.

We are coming from public and haven’t received any info. With our older kid, we didn’t hear until mid-January.

Our school emailed us that they have the scores and we’re mailing them out so we’ll get them over the break. Haven’t told my dd yet, I’ll just wait until it shows up in the mail for her.

She got a 98th percentile on the practice one going in cold, so we’re hoping for a 99th for her on the real one. Fingers crossed!

Your kid is currently in a private school, correct?

Parochial K-8 in NoVA. She took the HSPT 12/4 with the rest of the Arlington diocese, assuming I’m remembering the date correctly.

It’s not like the SAT where everyone hears on the same day. A lot of folks won’t get scores until January.
